This book is based on the wife of Reinder Hoekstra, Wietke Zuiderveld 1874 to 1950. She was from Groningen,  Netherlands.   Except for her ancestors’ information and locality descriptions,  the book repeats a lot of the descendants’s data and pictures, as is described in the Reinder Hoekstra book the name Hoekstra which is not very prevalent in the area.   However, a lot of the descendant did settle and live in the area of NW Iowa.
